When visiting a church for the first time can be daunting, but having an idea of what to expect can help you relax.
As a church our vision is to reach out to the whole of Cornwall and to develop lively, family friendly churches in Launceston, Bodmin and Truro. We are part of Elim Pentecostal Churches in the UK.
On Sunday mornings we gather to worship God together. Our service typically includes a time when we sing praises to God in a contemporary, vibrant style (so be prepared for drums and guitars). Both Bodmin and Launceston have a children’s club (GW4K) every Sunday – this is for children aged between 2-10 years of age.
We also pray together and hear God’s word taught in a way that we can apply it to our everyday life. Our services are relaxed and informal with a casual dress code so don’t worry about dressing up – although you can if you want to.
If you have a Bible, please bring it along—and if not, please ask us and we will give you one.
Discipleship (growing to be more like Jesus) is a key feature of all we do. We believe it to be important for the whole church family. We meet throughout the week for various activities, and it is worth checking out our events calendar to keep up to date with what is going on. There’s lots of information about each of these elements throughout this website so please take some time to explore.
