A BIG Welcome
At each of our Gateway Church locations the first people you’ll meet as you enter the building, will be the Welcome Team. They are here to help give you the best experience possible. For your first visit to Gateway Church, they can provide you with information about the church and answer any questions you might have about your visit.
Children
We are passionate about helping children learn about Jesus in a safe and fun environment. Our Launceston church has groups for both primary and secondary school aged children. Our Lostwithiel church provides fun filled, age specific activities, for children. When you arrive, our Welcome Team will make you aware of what children’s activities there are available this week. We have a Safeguarding Policy and all our teams are DBS checked.
What to expect
The services start promptly with a time of worship. Our Welcome Team will ensure that you are made to feel welcome. They can help you find a seat and you’ll notice that it is a pretty easy going environment where people are dressed casually.
The meetings vary in length, usually between 60 minutes to 90 minutes depending on the location. We blend our worship times between sung worship led by talented singers and musicians and with pre-recorded music. There is always an inspirational talk which will allow you to apply the scriptures to the circumstance talked about.
Our Launceston church has a prayer meeting before the service and meet in the Prayer Room.
After the service, please stay to join us for fresh refreshments.
