The Prayer Room

“Let joy be your continual feast. Make your life a prayer. And in the midst of everything be always giving thanks, for this is God’s perfect plan for you in Christ Jesus.”
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 The Passion Translation (TPT)

The Prayer Room was birthed out of a time when Kevin and Teresa served as Elim Missionaries in the Basque Country in South West France. Having renovated an old cellar into a Prayer Room in Biarritz and seeing the fruit that came out of that time, Kevin and Teresa sensed God prompting them to open a Prayer Room in Launceston.

Inspired by Peter Grieg’s teaching in the book ‘Red Moon Rising’, the vision for the Prayer Room is a place open 24/7 for church members and Christian believers in the community. Believing that transformation and healing come from a hungry heart for prayer, a designated room was designed, developed and consecrated in the Gateway Centre.

As well as the weekly church prayer gathering, believers across the counties of Cornwall and Devon have booked the Prayer Room for either personal time out with God or corporate leader’s prayer gatherings.

You can book The Prayer Room for a prayer meeting through the 24-7 prayer online booking system.

“A prayer room is first and foremost a living room—a place where the Father waits for his children to come and climb into his arms.” Pete Greig, Red Moon Rising
